Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both the captain and member in the 2012 fierce Five team as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. At the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals in floor and team competitions as well as bronze for the balance beam. It made her the Olympic gymnast with the highest number of medals. At the 2016, Olympics she took home a gold medal at the team event, which gave her and teammate Gabby Douglas the honour of being as the only Americans to have two consecutive team golds. In addition, she was awarded silver medals at the individual all-around and for floor exercises. Between the two Olympics she took her time from competing over three seasons. She was also an athlete on two gold medal winning American gymnastics team. When she was just 2 her first lesson was gymnastics. She is a fan of floor exercises. Aly supports her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who died due to cancer. Aly plans on pursuing the field of fashion, and hopes to broaden her line of signature leotards and socks in the near future. She is writing a book titled Fierce and will release in the coming months.
